This series of plug-top chargers delivers the power and performance one would expect only of devices of much bigger size. These very efficient chargers, being of the high frequency switching type, feature obvious advantages over conventional types of battery chargers.
Members of this family of switching plug-top chargers:

• 12V type: 1.0, 2 and 2.7A
• 6V/12V type (with selector switch): 6V/2.7A and 12V/2.7A
• 24V type: 1.5A

Product descriptions
These powerful, compact devices in switching technology boost-charge and maintain small to medium sized batteries. This plug-in charger is ideal for mobile applications like golf trolleys, scooters, motor cycles, wheel chairs or others.

Boost phase
Red LED (battery low) is on, charge current remains constant at rated value. Voltage rises until 80% of capacity is charged in. Red LED goes off, yellow LED is on now.

Timed absorption phase
Charge voltage constant at 14.7V. Charge current drops progressively, the yellow LED remains lit over the entire phase.

Maintenance phase:
Charge voltage drops to 13.8V, the charge current decays to a trickle. Yellow LED goes dark, green LED is on and remains lit. Battery voltage is maintained at 13.8V.
